New variables on clinical drug trials

The Swedish Ethical Review Authority has expanded the information in the statistics portal with new variables for clinical drug trials.

The purpose is to improve the possibilities for analysis and follow-up of clinical drug trials.
The new variables indicate whether a trial is conducted in one or more countries within the EU/EEA, as well as in which EU/EEA countries the trial is planned to be conducted according to the application. It also shows whether Sweden is designated as the Reporting Member State (RMS) in the application.
